New Grand i10 set to launch in 2017

Early 2017, the Korean carmaker will be launching the new Grand i10 with a facelift. It will hit the markets in an all new avatar sporting a bolder look.

The interiors might retain a look similar to the existing Grand i10, however, the door mouldings might be redesigned and new seat upholstery could be added. Other systems like automate climate control and touchscreen infotainment system could also be integrated based on the variant.

The exteriors are all set to receive a makeover- hexagonal grill (a feature we saw with the Hyundai Tucson as well), Daytime Runnings Lights (DRLs), new 14-inch alloy wheels and a sportier rear bumper with a new design for its tailgate.

The engine will remain the same as the current version available in both petrol (1.2-litre Kappa) and diesel (1.1-litre iRDE) variants, equipped with manual transmission integrated with a 5-speed gearbox. Automatic transmission is available only in the petrol variant as of now.

The car is expected to fall in the range of Rs.5 lakh to Rs.7 Lakh. A medium budget hatchback for your everyday needs, this car is a good blend of size and price for Indian roads.
