Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP will be launched on 26th of October.
The JTP versions are performance editions of these standard cars.
Performance changes on these Tatas are not just cosmetic but some serious mechanical changes as well.
The standard 1.2 litre Turbo , 3 cylinder engines do get tweaks and help churn out a 110 bhp and 170 NM of torque. The intake and exhaust have been tweaked to improve performance.
The list continues with transmission having optimised gear ratios, which will improve acceleration.
Sportier suspension setup that will see ground clearance lowered.
Sporty interiors with aluminium pedals.
Red accents on the black dashboard, leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering.
Housings for the fog lamps.
New-design 15-inch alloy wheels.
5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
We also exclusively reported that these improvements will see the turbo-petrol engine churn out more power and torque in the Tiago JTP and the Tigor JTP than it does in the Nexon, figures for which are pegged at 110hp and 170Nm.
Pricing is estimated to be a lakh plus on the standard model.
